I bet you thought I forgot about today! Nope, all smoke and mirrors, which is what we are celebrating today. Smoke and Mirrors Day is all about the art of illusion and I don’t mean your ex. I promise if there is a day dedicated to the trifling ways of an ex, I’ll let you know. Today also isn’t about your teenage Jekyll and Hyde or any other personality switch-er-roos.
I’m talking about magic, actual magic (well, as actual as magic can get)!
We are celebrating great illusionists like Harry Houdini, David Blaine, Siegfried and Roy, David Copperfield, Criss Angel, and Penn & Teller. I’m a fan of the Carbonaro Effect. Unfortunately, my magic skills are limited to a short number of card tricks and being able to control my crazy for about six hours at a time. That’s what’s magic about me. What’s magic about you?
I suggest celebrating this evening by learning a magic trick or watching more videos like the ones below. Holiday on my friends!

What’s magic about me? I can annoy my sister without even being in the same room. Like all magic, it took years to perfect this trick. But now that I’ve gotten it down to a science it serves as a great source of wonder and amusement to all spectators.
