Crikey!

It’s National Wildlife Day!  No need to go back and pull out the slides and albums, we’re not talking about your wild times as a twenty-something.  Press pause on reliving those mistakes.  National Wildlife Day was founded by Colleen Paige to honor the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin who was accidentally killed on this day in 2006 when a sting ray stabbed him through the heart.

Steve Irwin was passionate about wild animals, their preservation and educating individuals about the habitat and lives of undomesticated, untamed animals, no, not your teenager.  Celebrate today by increasing your knowledge and maybe abstaining from that bison burger.  I wouldn’t suggest swimming the great barrier reef and playing with sting rays (too soon?).  Have fun and…

HOLIDAY ON MY FRIENDS!!!
