Pull that belt loop back a notch. It’s National Cream-Filled Donut Day!  This sweet treat is a gift from the Dutch and originally there were no holes.  Even though today specifically mentions cream-filled doughy goodness, I say let’s celebrate the entire lot.  So, whether you like the holes or the whole thing, satisfy your sweet tooth today with a baker’s dozen (to share, of course).  My favorite is the Cruller “a doughnut dough leavened with yeast or baking powder that’s shaped into a long twist, deep fried and sprinkled with sugar or glazed with a thin icing.” Yummmm!  Should you enjoy a cream-filled celebration, wear a bib and…
