It’s Veterans Day! Originally, called Armistice Day, Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the day to honor fallen soldiers of World War I. In 1945, Congress renamed and amended the holiday to include all men and woman of service. Celebrate today by thanking a soldier, sailor, or airmen who have bravely dedicated a portion of their life to serving on behalf of the citizens of the United States.
